Worst Episode

Probably one of the least thought up topics in Family Guy’s long list of areas to discuss is which episode stinks upon the golden embedded ones. Many say there is no ‘bad’ episode of Family Guy, and while they may be somewhat right that doesn’t answer the question. Which episode is the worst of all-time?

To begin this process we must eliminate all the classics. “Love Thy Trophy” see ya later, to-da-le-do “Wasted Talent”. This process is probably the hardest, every fan has a personal favorite episode but we now must examine the “terrible episodes”.

We begin with the first truly flawed episode of Family Guy in the mind of many FG experts, “A Picture’s Worth a Thousand Bucks”. To refresh your memory this is the episode in which Chris becomes an artist. Once he is the property of a New York gallery owner. The story to begin with seems farfetched but isn’t that what every FG story is. Okay well let’s examine the comedy, well there little to be found. The episode is intriguing enough to watch, but there’s not much going on.

The next episode we come across that is painfully bad is “The Story on Page One” which just happens to be written by the same writer who wrote “A Picture’s Worth a Thousand Bucks”. The two episodes fail for the different reasons. Here we have an episode about Meg. Ask any FG fan and they’d tell you that the show would be better off if she didn’t exist. Meg just doesn’t have anything distinct for her; she’s a loser who doesn’t do it anything but have a crush on some TV star.

In conclusion, these episodes may be bad for Family Guy’s standards but they’re still much more enjoyable to watch than 80% of the other pathetic shows on television these days.
