Quag's Corner Tell me a little about
yourself
Fender: well, i'm 16, i live in CT,
bout 40 minutes from where seth is from :-) (haha i know im lame). i
do alot of work with computer gfx, and im a huge fg/seth fan.
QC: Do you have any good memories
you can think of that have to do with Family Guy?
F: well last year at lunch, these
two guys that i sat with were complete fg freaks for atleast 10
minutes every day they would just act out episodes and that was
always entertaining
QC: Who's your favorite character
on Family Guy and why?
F: probably brian because most of
his remarks are just funny and sarcastic and thats what i'm like
alot of the time. also he's an alchoholic dog for gods sake...
doesnt get much funnier than that. but then there's stewie, i love
him too. a toddler bent on world domination with a british accent...
thats comedy right there. so i love the two of them, especially when
they are both together.
QC: What inspired you to start The
Seth MacFarlane Fan Club?
F: well, i love family guy, and
there are tons of fg fan sites out there and already american dad
sites starting up, so being a huge fan of seth and all of his work
now that AD is almost out, why not start a fan club for the man
behind it all. and also on adultswim.com forums, seeing the amount
of people who supported the idea of starting one.
QC: On average, how much time do
you spend working on things for The Seth MacFarlane Fan Club?
F: quite a bit on some days,
dealing with board problems, or planing things. currently i'm going
to start on a new template one of these days which will take a
little while. i havent made too much stuff gfx wise for the site
yet, but i made all of the avatars on the forums and that was a pain
in the ass. but certain things, like transfering the site from the
drunkenclam.com to sethmacfarlane.org took a days work of doing a
shit load of copy and pasting.just depends on the daylike today, i
didnt really have to do anything, trying to get ideas for the
template. but when i do do the template i could work on it for an
hour or two depending on how the ideas work
QC: What's your best advice to someone
interested in getting into the Family Guy community?
F: dont go it alone. have a well
rounded team of people with different strengthsm it makes it a whole
lot easier than having to do every little detail by yourself. but
also do something different than what every one else has so that
you're not just thrown in there with the rest and you can stand out
and have people think of you when they want certain things. be
creative.
QC: Any closing words?
F: SG4L!!
