Site Interviews
Cheyne
Quag’s Corner: Tell me a
little about yourself. (Name, Age, Hobbies, Etc.)
Cheyne: My name is
Cheyne, I'm 15 years old and I live in Florida. I enjoy
listening to music, watching TV, and drawing (though I'm not
very good at it). One day I hope to make my own Internet
Show or comic. My favorite types of movies are Comedy and
Horror (Great mix huh?) . My favorite types of music are
rock, techno, and trance. I absolutely hate rap. My favorite
TV shows are Family Guy and Wolf's Rain.
QC: Do you have any
good memories you can think of that have to do with Family
Guy?
C: Umm... I remember the first time I saw Family Guy. It was
when it was still on FOX. I saw the last few minutes of
"Screwed the Pooch". I didn't really care about it then.
QC: Who's your favorite
character on Family Guy and why?
C: Brian is my favorite
character. He has a funny sarcasm that you don't see in many
other characters.
QC: What inspired you to
start B-Griffin.tk?
C: I enjoyed going on
other Family Guy sites and especially their forums. So I
figured, "Why not create something that I really enjoy
doing" (Does that make any sense?). I also wanted to see if
I could do better than some of the other Family Guy sites
that I have visited.
QC: On average how much
time do you work on B-Griffin.tk every week?
C: I haven't been working that much on it within the last
week or so because of my final exams coming up. If I don't
pass I'll have to go to summer school. As of two weeks ago,
I have been working on it on the weekends. During the
summer, I will practically be working on it all day on the
weekdays.
QC: Do you have any
other projects besides your site going on right now that you
can tell us about?
C: Not really... I'm going to attempt to make an online
comic (not related to Family Guy). It's going to be very
funny. I was thinking about calling it, "Their lives".
QC: What's your favorite
episode of Family Guy and why?
C: My favorite episode
is "Road to Europe", because it's really funny , it was one
of the last episodes that I saw, and it seems longer than
most of the other ones.
QC: What's your best
advice to someone interested in starting a site?
C: My best advice would be to get some knowledge of HTML,
JavaScript, and other scripting languages. If you are
building a fan site, then try to come up with something
creative that other sights don't have. If you have some type
of web design class at your school, you might want to take
it. It's really helpful.
QC: Any closing words?
C: Yes. I would like to
say a big thanks to War_Machine for helping me out with the
graphics on my site (He created the title page for
b-griffin) My site would really crappy if it weren't for
him. I would also like to thank the people who helped
promote my site, (especially True_Texan and Radeeoactive33).
By the way: I will be getting a ".COM" name this summer to
get rid of all thse pesky pop-ups! You will still be able to
get to my site through the ".TK" name.
