Site Interviews
mikenomn

Quag’s Corner: Tell me a little about yourself.

mikenomn: I'm 22, a Computer Engineering major, live in MN.

QC: Do you have any good memories you can think of that have to do with Family Guy?

M: Watching it with friends. None that pop out.

QC: Who's your favorite character on Family Guy and why?

M: Peter.  He's the most outrageous.  They can make him say whatever they want and get away with it because he's just so stupid.

QC: How did it come about for you to start working at Planet Family Guy?

M: I was made a moderator and eventually and administrator at PFG's sister site, Damnyouall.net. During that time the creators of the site noticed my talents in flash and a web design and asked if I'd be intrested in being a part of PFG.

QC: On average how much time do you work on Planet Family Guy/DYA every week?

M: Between answering emails and working on games, I'd say a good 5-10 hours in a typical week.

QC: Do you have any other projects besides PFG going on right now that you can tell us about?

M: Well my own site, mikenomn.com, my music, and The New Cartoon are all on my plate at the moment as well as some web-design work on the side.

QC: What's your favorite episode of Family Guy and why?

M: I really don't have a favorite episode.  It may seem like a cop-out but they're all great.

QC: What's your best advice to someone interested in starting a Family Guy site?

M: Content content content.  Anyone can write up a quick site about how much they love the show, but from our experience with PFG, people look for information online.  Make sure you offer a lot of it and make sure it's original.

QC: What are some of your interests/hobbies besides Planet Family Guy?

M: I have many but programming, music recording and production, flash, and animating are some of the major ones.

QC: Any closing words?

M: Well, I'm very lucky to be working with the guys at PFG and while I appreciate the interview, I think they deserve the majority of the credit for what you see on our site.
